Assessing the Practicality of Using an Automatic Speech Recognition Tool to Teach English Pronunciation Online

This study aims to determine how well an automatic speech recognition (ASR) tool could be used in online EFL course help L1 Japanese students improve their pronunciation. Previous studies have suggested that ASR tools can helpful this regard, but few dealt with entirely or attempted use the data which lessons were most impactful.
